:LP: #9 Ihip ng Hangin (Wind/Windy)

I will just put my entry for this week here instead at my main blog.

Just take a look at how I hold the rails in the boat that we rode when we went to DayDream Island (Aus.) last March 2008. It was oh so windy and so gloomy that day and the sea is rough and wavy but that doesn't stop us from going to explore and see the beauty of that small island.

I was a bit scared that I will be thrown off the boat and eaten by the sharks bec. of the gutsy wind. lol

Gosh I am having a bad hair day here!

(Tignan nyo ang pagkakahawak ko sa rail sa bangka na sinakyan namin papuntang Day Dream Island. Napaka hangin, makulimlim at maalon sa dagat pero nagpunt apa rin kami para makita ang maliit na islang ito. Natakot ako ng konti dahil sa lakas ng ihip ng hangin at baka kasi mahulog ako sa bangka at baka kainin ako ng mga pating)

Save , save your work !

The rain suddenly poured just few minutes ago and as usual the street in front of me got water again. My net cafe is almost full and I have some customers replying emails, chatting or typing something when the lights started to flicker. I wasn't able to warn them to save whatever they are doing so that they will not do it all over again. The lights went of on and on for few seconds and their computers just shut down suddenly (mine did not- that is why I love my HP computer!), one customer did not saved his works (typings) so he will do it all over again.

It's not my fault I said bec. it's common sense to SAVE your work every now and then bec. you'll never know when the light will go off or when will the computer will crash. When i do typings of layouting, it is in my nature to click on the SAVE button often, in that way I will not lose any work that I have.

So the lesson is SAVE SAVE SAVE!

Good exercise

yay, im loving badminton right now, but with my desire to have do an exercise and keep my blood running all throughout my body i have an aching body. This morning after the rained stopped, I was able to play with my niece and bro for 2 hours and holy cow my sweat is drippin' like a faucet and now I have an aching body hahaha.My right arm is aching as well as my muscles in the legs, I have a hard time sitting down ..haha... nope it;s not a rheumatism like what my sis JOY told me hahaha. For sure I will play again tomorrow morning and hope it will not rain.

: Litratong Pinoy #8 : Tubig (Water)

Raining, Raining, Raining, that is what happened for the last week or so. That is usually the scene that you will see in front of my store. Those are rain waters being trapped in the streets when rain poured heavily. The good thing is that it will subside easily after the rain stops.

(Umuulan, umuulan, umuulan, iyan ang nangyari noong nakaraang linggo !! iyan naman ang nangyayari sa harapan ng tindahan ko. Iyan ang tubig ulan na naiipon sa kalsada pag umulan ng malakas. Ang maganda dito eh madali naman itong nawawala.)

: There's always sun after a storm :

It's been raining almost everyday since last week bec. a typhoon once again hits our country. It maybe good to have rain to water the drying fields in the country side but worst happened when it turned out into a storm badly hitting some provinces and ruining many poor people's livelihood. It is so sad to see our countrymen to lose their houses and their livelihood. State of the calamities are being declared by the gov't. for those provinces that have many lost infrastructures and more.

I just wish there will be no more lives or properties to be taken by the coming typhoons. It will be rainy season soon so we could only be prepared and alert. Right now, it has been sunny and humid again here at our area but for sure when the rain comes again, gloomy days are coming.

: Will never be contented :

Oh yeah, if you only know, I have been changing this header for about 4x now and I never get satisfied..lol . Chikai is right, she told me that I will replace my header once again.. Is she a clairvoyant? hehe. I wanted a fresh clean look so this afternoon, I opened my PSP again and just browsed on some digi papers that I have and voila I chose this paper from Bren Boon.

So don't be amazed when you see another header or color scheme the next time you come here. Keeping my fingers crossed that I will not change the header again for a long time hahaha.

I was blog hopping this morning and i was having fun reading posts from one blog to another. Some are interesting while some are so-so. I hopped into one blog and i would love to leave a comment on it's tagboard. I submitted it but it won't get thorough bec. it says i need to register first before doing so.. Are you kidding me??? Although i can do, i just left the blog. I reckon this will only turn off the blog's visitors when someone wants to leave a message. Just my thought.. har har

: Getting Frustrated :

Ohhh I am in a senti mood right now.. blame it on my hormones harhar..Not much to say but I'm juts getting lil frustrated bec. of my low productivity since yesterday. I was hoping to get more jobs and works but they are just not there. Hmmmm.. so sad. I know there are times work is overflowing and there are times it is really scarce. All I have to do right now is to wait and hope for the good things to come in the next few days or perhaps next few motnhs? Ahhh i am getting impatient.

BTW I am very happy for my bestfriend RACE, who is dong good in her chosen "career' right now and I just wish she will be able to leave her present job now bec. she is not happy anymore there. Oh anyway.. I reckon everything will be fine..

: I'm a header maker :

My sister JoyD and my bestfriend Race, asked me to make new headers for their blogs. And since i know how to make one and I have some digital stuff from my collection, I was able to make them new headers that they liked. At first I had a hard time thinking what design to put and what layout since I don't know what theme they want.

Sis Joy just wanted a cute header so I put some cute elements on it and she liked it anyway; Here are the headers that I made for her 2 blogs.

: Death Toll rises in China :

I could not help but to feel sad and feel sorry for the people in western China bec. of too much deaths bec. of the recent big earthquake. I heard last day 10,000 have already died but the toll rises up to 12,000 as of now. They believe that it will rises again bec. a factory that have reported to have 6,000 workers died in it too.

This incident reminds me of the 1991 earthquake that we have here in the Phils. with 7.5 on Ritcher scale.

: Gloomy Day :

It's been gloomy and raining since I woke up this morning and this is due to the recent typhoon Butchoy that we had. Well at least it is not that humid and hot unlike the previous days. Rainy seasons are definitely coming soon and we need to prepare when it comes. I just remember the flash flood that happens yesterday in Q.C. leaving 50 families with destroyed houses. I just wish our local government should make an effort in cleaning all the canals and esteros and all the families should also cooperate in cleaning as well.

: Blurry Eyes :

Ahhhh my eyes are giving me discomfort again lately since I got back using my pc almost the whole day. Like I have been mentioning long time ago, I am using a reading glass but i guess it serves no purpose bec. it doesn't help in making my eye sight clearer. I think I need to have my eyes checked again maybe it has new specs now. Ahhh I can't stand looking at my monitor too much.

: No receipt issued , yay!:

I went to post office this morning to get a postal ID. I signed up the application form and I read that it only costs P175.00. When I gave the form and I handed P200, the lady told me that it was P285... what???? I didn't utter a word and didn't even bothered to asked why? I gave 300 and she has no change for me so I will get the P15 next week but she noted it on my form.

I was waiting for a receipt but she gave me nothing and just told me to come back on Monday to get the card and my change. No receipt issued on a government office??? Yay, I should have asked but i was left speechless.

Although I love using my computer and the internet all day , the test shows I not really addicted to it 100% bec. I can still function well and do other things other than the surfing.

: The header will stay :

Weee. I have been tweaking my header for the last few days and it doesn't really satisfy me. I put a pink header and background and I feel it's not me. I am not a girly girly girl to have a pink blog lol. I love earth tone colors (goes with the age lol) so i opted to have a brown background. I hope I will nto make another one bec. actually it's tiring already lol.

: I got my 50mm f/1.8 lens :

Finally, i already bought my 50 mm f1.8 II lens yahooo and I am loving it!! It is light weight, sharp, affordable and i just love the aperture. It is great for portraits but it is good also as a walkaround lens and good for low light conditions. It's a fix lens so there is no zoom, your zoom is your feet, lol. Even so I love it !!, Am i saying goodbye to my kit lens now? I think so

My niece and I bought it at INFO MAX at cyberzone 4flr. in Megamall just yesterday (Sunday). Actually, I went to Canon branch 1st at megamall but it is out of stock and it costs more that what i got from Infomax. I know it is much more cheaper in Hidalgo but I have no time to go there anymore. Have you got your own, Canonians get one now as it is a must!! My next project is either 28-135 mm IS or telephoto 70-200mm IS lenses. Yay expensive hobby!

: I am not happy :

I've been tweaking this blog since yesterday and I am not happy with the color scheme that I have right now. I saw a lot of nice templates but nothing seems to match what i like regrading the size of header. Hmmmm, i will try to change this again later because I am not happy.

This is my entry for this blog, this week's theme is TIME.

We went to the Thirlmere Steam Train Festival in Australia one time and there are many mini-stalls around the streets that sells anything. I saw this old antique clock that is for sale and wishing i can go back in time, not quite sure thought how much it is.

: When will I ever digi-scrap again? :

That is the question.. Hayyy afetr my 3 month vacation from the Land Down Under i feel my mojo from doing digi scrapping got lost. I don;t have the urge to make one lately (except for the header on my other blog) and I reckon this is bad. I have been hooked to this hobby for almost 2 years now and i fon't want to give it up.

I have thousands of vacation photos that are nice to scrap but hey i don't know where to start, I am lost again. Just started to look for some freebies online and was tempted to buy at some digi store (lots of sale goin on) but like i said I don;t have the mood yet.

Just envy with my co-bebots who are all excited shopping and scrapping, Oh well I know my laziness will pass and i will be back on my digi scrapping again soon. Keeping my fingers crossed!

: It's good to be home alone once in a while

Oh yeah it is true, My mom, my sister & her family and bro & family went up North in the Ilocos region for their 4 day vacation and I was left home alone since Tuesday. Hmmm not totally alone because a family friend of ours is accompanying me at the house at night. I didn't go with them because it is so far and I don;t want to close my store for a long time.

They will also be going to Vigan to meet a friend and explore the place. I wish I can come with them since it is a nice place to take a lot of photos and to practice my digital photography. Oh well, there is always a next time. I just can't wait for their pasalubongs like mangoes yum yum!

My sis and her family are back in Pinas for a vacation!

It's always good to see a loved one after many years of being away from us. My sister Beng and her family were back home here in Pinas for a vacation from Riyadh. They arrived on April 15, 2 days earlier than me. It was exciting to see my nephew and niece all so grown up. One of the reasons too why they came home is that her daughter (Frances Marie) will be studying college here at Mapua. Frances already passed the exams and already got enrolled.

My sister is working at King Faissal Hospital in Riyadh as one of the medical secretary for many years now. Her husband in turn, is an Electrical Engineer working at the biggest electric company there, SCECO.

I have many things to accomplish this week and next week and I hope I can do all of them. here's my list:

1. Mail the pasalubong that I have for Zanne this week sana hehe (sorry Zanne)
2. Have my over 1,000 digi photos printed from my recent trip to Sydney
3. Get my EON card at Union Bank next week
4. Canvas prices of Canon 50mm f1.8 and EFS 28-105mm lenses
5. Upgrade my HP desktop memory from 2.5 MB to 3GB
6. Vsit my dentist for my regular teeth cleaning
7. Go to the salon for a hair spa, my hair is already dry bec. we have been on the beach and sun all the time when I was in Australia
